What we do During Our Month Off!
When I worked part-time as a legal secretary, I really think my boss thought on my days off, that I sat around and ate bon-bons! ha. I guess you could say that we do that here at the tearoom...we don't exactly eat all those yummy treats...but we do search through cookbooks and recipes trying to find good treats to serve up for our 2013 Tea Parties!
What do you do when you have a break from the normal routine?
~Donna
I guess when we take a break, it is always with what your normal life consists of operating in the back of your mind. I look for items for my shops and for neat ideas for blog posts. Poor you...you have to try out the new recipes!!! :)

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time off.
Hello Donna,
ReplyDeleteI must apologize for my very late response to your question about my fruit cake! {I have been ill most of January and I only did enough blogging to keep my two parties going. I also had a sprained hand and wrist so blogging was extremely difficult!}
To answer your question, I have never shared the recipe for the cake but if and when I do, I will let you know. I actually make two fruit cakes every Christmas; a light and a dark. The light is my mother's and the dark is my grandmother's.
Hope your New Year is off to a wonderful start! Thank you for your visit.
Blessings,
Sandi
