Today, I’m sharing with you a picture of a Royal Minster Teacup and a Kitty TeaCozy that I knitted. I’m a big fan of teacozies… and especially love knitting them! I’ve made several this year!



I bought this rose teacup for mom’s birthday this year. I don’t think you can ever have too many teacups, right!?

    I really Love teacozies so much.I of course have tons of teapots and teacups.How strange that I don't have any cozies. Why? Maybe they're harder to find,more expensive,and I don't shop the internet.I tried to knit one,it came out funny looking.I will buy one some day,maybe my birthday:)

Last of the Summer Rose: Rose Ice Cream Recipe

The Last of the Summer Roses are Here!  Here's a Recipe for you to enjoy with the last of this year's roses.  Rose Petal Ice Cream 2 C Heavy Cream 1 C Sugar 1 C Rose Petals 2 Tea Spoons of Rose Congou Black Tea 1-2 drops of food coloring In a heavy bottomed saucepan heat milk, sugar, rose petals and Rose Congou Black Tea over moderate heat until almost boiling.   Take off stove; place a lid on top and steep for 20 minutes.   Strain, place in fridge to cool; then process in an ice cream maker.   Serve in chilled glasses with a few rose petals for garnish.   Yields 4 servings.   Keep in mind, the cream makes this Ice Cream rich, so a votive cup of Ice Cream is a perfect serving size.  Enjoy!

Teacup Thursday: "A Cup of Christmas Tea"

"We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" Mom was the first to get this set of “Cup of Christmas Tea” teacup and teapot. She received them many years ago by a friend in California, Dayna Esquivel. When we moved out here to the country, Mom and I began enjoying tea together in the afternoons. That Christmas Mom found another set of “Christmas Tea” teacups and teapot and purchased them for me! We always get these teacups out at Christmas and sip tea out of them on a regular basis.
