This past weekend we had a Free Tea Tasting Event. We had a lot of fun sharing with our guests different varieties of teas
and educating them on how to brew tea properly! 
We even had a few 'tea converts'!!

Little Snacks



One of the teas sampled was our White Raspberry Champagne.  This tea is a delicious, refreshing tea with a touch of sweetness from the raspberry flavoring.  We served this tea iced and we placed fresh raspberries in it for a pretty presentation.

This was little Emma's first teatime experience. We were so impressed with her manners!! She is such a lady!!



Do these two look like 'mother-daughter' or what!! We think they should enter the mother/daughter contest at the State Fair!!


We hope to be hosting more Tea Tasting Events in the future! So be watching!!!

    Beautiful Donna! Love the pretzels in the tea cup. What lucky guests... great tea, fun treats, and a learning opportunity... and free! Your joy is evident in each photograph!

Last of the Summer Rose: Rose Ice Cream Recipe

The Last of the Summer Roses are Here!  Here's a Recipe for you to enjoy with the last of this year's roses.  Rose Petal Ice Cream 2 C Heavy Cream 1 C Sugar 1 C Rose Petals 2 Tea Spoons of Rose Congou Black Tea 1-2 drops of food coloring In a heavy bottomed saucepan heat milk, sugar, rose petals and Rose Congou Black Tea over moderate heat until almost boiling.   Take off stove; place a lid on top and steep for 20 minutes.   Strain, place in fridge to cool; then process in an ice cream maker.   Serve in chilled glasses with a few rose petals for garnish.   Yields 4 servings.   Keep in mind, the cream makes this Ice Cream rich, so a votive cup of Ice Cream is a perfect serving size.  Enjoy!

"We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" Mom was the first to get this set of “Cup of Christmas Tea” teacup and teapot. She received them many years ago by a friend in California, Dayna Esquivel. When we moved out here to the country, Mom and I began enjoying tea together in the afternoons. That Christmas Mom found another set of “Christmas Tea” teacups and teapot and purchased them for me! We always get these teacups out at Christmas and sip tea out of them on a regular basis.
