A friend shared this picture on Facebook. I thought it was so darling that I just had to share it with all of you! Isn't it sweet!? Don't know about you, but I could certainly live in a cottage like this one!!!
Today would have marked Princess Diana's 52nd birthday! She was a remarkable woman with a big heart and a lot of love for people! Her ability to love people has passed on to her two sons, William and Harry. England's Rose, The People's Princess, will be forever missed! Happy Birthday Princess!
The Last of the Summer Roses are Here! Here's a Recipe for you to enjoy with the last of this year's roses. Rose Petal Ice Cream 2 C Heavy Cream 1 C Sugar 1 C Rose Petals 2 Tea Spoons of Rose Congou Black Tea 1-2 drops of food coloring In a heavy bottomed saucepan heat milk, sugar, rose petals and Rose Congou Black Tea over moderate heat until almost boiling. Take off stove; place a lid on top and steep for 20 minutes. Strain, place in fridge to cool; then process in an ice cream maker. Serve in chilled glasses with a few rose petals for garnish. Yields 4 servings. Keep in mind, the cream makes this Ice Cream rich, so a votive cup of Ice Cream is a perfect serving size. Enjoy!
"We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" Mom was the first to get this set of “Cup of Christmas Tea” teacup and teapot. She received them many years ago by a friend in California, Dayna Esquivel. When we moved out here to the country, Mom and I began enjoying tea together in the afternoons. That Christmas Mom found another set of “Christmas Tea” teacups and teapot and purchased them for me! We always get these teacups out at Christmas and sip tea out of them on a regular basis. They hold many found memories of teatime with my mom! May you have a blessed Christmas!! Other's Who Are Participating in Teacup Thursday! The Hope Chest Rose Chintz Cottage Antiques and Teacups

I saw that on FB and definitely could live there too. Do you think there is two houses, so each of us could have our own and be neighbors?
ReplyDeleteI would love to live in this cottage! Life would be sublime!
