Things that give Delight...
People often ask how did we get all of this stuff? Trust us on this one...it's been from years of collecting, but one thing is true ~ we rely on the emotional quality of the things we purchase. Antique or not, it has to be beautiful and give delight. It's really that simple!! Hope you enjoy a few of our favorite things...
I know the joy of collecting china and you have some very pretty pieces. Love the transfer-ware. Deb
ReplyDeleteTo handle a lovely piece of china does indeed give delight! We have all been bitten by the bug....

You have many beautiful things. I adore your tea room!
ReplyDeleteIs that Johnson Brother's Friendly Village I see on that top shelf? I have that set too. Used to have some of the red transfer ware like yours too, and had some blue pieces. I have an open hand with my collections and shared the red and the blue, but Friendly Village is still in my cabinet! Thanks for sharing the lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely my philosophy too. If I don't love it, I don't buy it. Love, love, love your shelf of wonderful things. This shelf inspired me to go searching for my transferware teapot. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou have awesome collections, and I love it, too!! : - )
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, all of it! I dreamed last night that I found several pieces of pink transferware at a yard sale...it would be nice if that dream would come true!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collections to fill your shelves! There is so much fun in collecting beautiful china and teaware.
