Everything has a beginning, doesn’t it? Well, Miss Spenser’s beginning came about from hosting a tea party at Miss Trinkie’s home about 7 years ago. I don’t think at the time that she knew she was our first, or shall we say ‘guinea pig’ tea friend!! We were SOOO nervous!! But as you can tell from this sweet face, that Miss Trinkie set our nerves at ease immediately!
We wish we had saved that menu from our first outing…one of the things I do recall is Miss Trinkie’s famous chilled strawberry soup. She made it as an addition to the tea menu that day; it was so delicious and she even sent us home with the recipe!
Today, Miss Trinkie is visiting with her daughters -- what a blessing she has been to us over the past 7 years…we always say, “When we grow up, we want to be just like Trinkie!” She is the most gracious, classiest, tea-sipping lady we know!!
Thank you for your support over the years Trinkie…you’ve been such a blessing to us!!
