Bursting With Pride…please allow us to share!!

Many of you tea friends know Chase…our excellent soundman and tea pourer extraordinaire! This past weekend he had an opportunity to audition for Lorie Line, performing pianist and her “Fabulous Five” which tour throughout the Midwest and beyond. We are pleased to share with you that Chase has been selected as Lorie’s guitarist and will be joining her Fabulous Five and touring with her starting May 1st.

Lorie Line is a successful Minnesota artist who has been professionally sharing her passion for the piano with the world for over 22 years. If you have not yet had a chance to see her in concert…we would highly recommend you do…she’s a phenomenal pianist and entertainer, dubbed as “America’s Favorite Pianist”…you won’t be disappointed!!

Chase has always had a song in his heart…when he was little, he used to walk around outside singing a tune…I recall fondly, a neighbor in California commenting about Chase when he was 4 years old, “That boy always has a song…”

As his parents, we are grateful we were able to recognize his love for music. At the age of 5, Chase studied classical piano under Doris Swanson, Janet Young, and Karen Langstraat. He competed in many Iowa Music Teacher Association piano competitions receiving numerous awards. But it was at the age of 15 that Chase found his true love – the guitar where he has studied under James Bien teacher/owner of Iowa Music Lab and Simpson’s Professor, Seth Headquist. It became, what he calls, an addiction, practicing 3-4 hours a day. In just one year, he became a lead guitarist for a worship team, learning to transcribe music and improvise on the spot. Three years later, he competed and became a finalist for the “King of the Blues” in Des Moines, Iowa. He also plays in a sibling band called 30 Below with his younger brother Zachary and his older sister, Spenser. Grayson (10) is currently under Chase’s tutelage and hopes become the bands next bass guitarist.
Chase is Lorie’s youngest guitar player ever to perform; she told Chase she is excited to work with him and has a lot she can teach him. We are so excited about this opportunity…with his gift from God, hard work and passion, we are excited to see where this next year will lead him!
We will keep you posted on local performances by Lorie Line and her Fabulous Five! Be sure to become a Fan of "Chase Hardin Musician" on Facebook!!! Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to share!!
