It was an early springtime affair. Two old friends and the rain were there. Flickering candles. A pot of hot tea. Pear blossoms falling from high in the tree. An impromptu event, to which non could compare... And only two friends and rain were there.  ~ Unknown

Busy Day today with two different seatings for Teatime Thursdays… so that’s why I’m late in posting today’s Teacup Thursday. Sorry Ladies… Here’s pictures of a Rose Teacup that we have… I love this pattern! We drank strawberry tea and ate Rose Cake (made with real roses!) Hope you are all enjoying this lovely month of roses. They are in full bloom here. Actually the other day, mom and I were walking on the gravel roads and the sweetest fragrance came through the air… Guess what it was?? White Wild Rose Bushes growing along side of the road! 58 years ago today… on June 2nd, 1953 ~ Queen Elizabeth II was crowned monarch of the United Kingdom! So in honor of this day, I thought I’d share with you our Queen Elizabeth Teacup and Coronation plate.  Long Live the Queen! Also, on a side note… 52 years ago today, my dad was born!
