Many of you tea friends know Chase…our excellent soundman and tea pourer extraordinaire! This past weekend he had an opportunity to audition for Lorie Line, performing pianist and her “Fabulous Five” which tour throughout the Midwest and beyond. We are pleased to share with you that Chase has been selected as Lorie’s guitarist and will be joining her Fabulous Five and touring with her starting May 1st. Lorie Line is a successful Minnesota artist who has been professionally sharing her passion for the piano with the world for over 22 years. If you have not yet had a chance to see her in concert…we would highly recommend you do…she’s a phenomenal pianist and entertainer, dubbed as “America’s Favorite Pianist”…you won’t be disappointed!! Chase has always had a song in his heart…when he was little, he used to walk around outside singing a tune…I recall fondly, a neighbor in California commenting about Chase when he was 4 years old, “That boy always has a song…”  As his paren...

Queen Jubilee Celebration

Image
Today, February 6th 2012, marks the beginning of the Queen's Jubilee Celebration! In honor of this special day she has given this special message: Today, as I mark 60 years as your Queen, I am writing to thank you for the wonderful support and encouragement that you have given to me and Prince Philip over these years and to tell you how deeply moved we have been to receive so many kind messages about the Diamond Jubilee. In this special year, as I dedicate myself anew to your service, I hope we will all be reminded of the power of togetherness and the convening strength of family, friendship and good neighbourliness, examples of which I have been fortunate to see throughout my reign and which my family and I look forward to seeing in many forms as we travel throughout the United Kingdom and the wider Commonwealth. I hope also that this Jubilee year will be a time to give thanks for the great advances that have been made since 1952 and to look forward to the future with clea...

Teacup Thursday: My Love is like a Red, Red Rose

Image
My love is like a red red rose That’s newly sprung in June; My love is like the melodie That’s sweetly play’d in tune. So fair art thou, my bonnie lass, So deep in love am I; And I will love thee still, my dear, Till a’ the seas gang dry. Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear, And the rocks melt wi’ the sun: And I will love thee still, my dear, While the sands o’ life shall run. And fare thee weel, my only love And fare thee weel, a while! And I will come again, my love, Tho’ it were ten thousand mile. ~Robert Burns Other's Who Are Participating in Teacup Thursday!
