Teacup Thursday: A Teacup to Take Home

Image
Here is a picture of a treasure I found in California... While Kiley and I were shopping at a little antique store in Cambria, we found two teacups that looked EXACTLY alike!! I told Kiley, we should both get one!  Then whenever we look at them, we can think of each other!  And, when we chat on the phone, we could both be sipping tea out of matching teacups! Kind of like the friendship necklace idea only in teacups! :) This post draws us to a close in my trip to California... hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures! Teacup Thursday: The Tea Cozy Tearoom

While in California, Kiley and I took a little road trip to Cambria! Such a cute little town! We had fun shopping at the little antique shops, spending the night at Ollie-berry Bed and Breakfast, visiting Hearst Castle and of course... taking tea at the "Tea Cozy Tearoom"!  This place was great! Inside I felt like I was in a real British House (or at least what I'd imagine a British House feeling like!)  They served so much food! It was all so good!!!  Yummy Scones!  Just looking at the pictures makes me hungry!  Cheers!  Other's Who Are Participating in Teacup Thursday! Teacup Thursday: Teatime at the High Tea Cottage in California

Well, I am back home in Iowa today after my week long vacation in California! I had a lovely time visiting my "California Family"!  We visited a few different tearooms while I was there! Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing some fun pictures of our tearoom experiences! Here's the first tearoom we visited: "The High Tea Cottage Tearoom". American Beauty China The pictures below were taken by the talented Grayson Kemp! I hope you enjoy them! I think he did a fantastic job capturing the moments!!  Check out his blog here: ClimbBlackBranches.com   He shares a lot of neat pictures of his many adventures! Front of the High Tea Cottage The tearoom is owned by a nice British Couple, Jen and Ken. Here's Ken taking our Tea Orders! There were so many teas to try!!  A sweet picture of Lori... (Kiley and Grayson's mom). She's the one that introduced my mom to the love to tea many years ago!  The Tea Tray!  Me, Grayso
